Thanks Upsy, coming into our hot Summer with no rain expected for four/five months, we are doing okay.

Just browsed backwards,..one can almost feel the sense of being in a beautiful tropical garden,..i love how the Baffa has turned out,..awesome display of blooms there as well,..very nice to see Van and Munchkin basking in the sun,..i enjoyed going back over all your stunning posts and images,..

Hope your Brugs fully recover,..i love that 'Hibiscus rosa sinensis',..it looks like a big bloom?,..the nursery looks like its in good health

 

They are huge. Just said to J yesterday it is one of my favourite blooms because of the size and sort of wrinkly petals. Also, it is a heavy bloomer ... plus it has the very dark leaves. That was a good purchase at 17 Euros.

 

July brings the heat loving plants to the forefront ...

And so we had a mishap with Cy due to the gusty winds on Friday night ...

j Did a miraculous job of righting him, cutting off the lower dead fronds and putting him back in his pot ...


Now with the sun behind from the West, Cy looks better. To give an idea of the size, the ballustrade is 60cm/2 foot tall ...
