I think this could run and run, but I just wonder if you thought it was bad at the time.

I was an adolescent lad last time I looked at a copy of the Sun, and the internet didn't exist, so I thought it was great. Doesn't change the hypocrisy though.

I've never paid paid anyone for rude photos, then had a go at someone else for paying for rude photos.

I'm sure all this media hype is helping sell more papers, The Sun doesn't have an ounce of decency, all they care about is making money.

Its just that you have a go at the Sun about topless photos 30 or 40 yrs ago and you remember liking them.
I just think its double standards, you obviously bought the Sun, or someone did for you to be able to see them, but now its all bad taste and should never have been allowed.
And lets face it, they weren't really rude, were they?

No. I'm not having a go at the Sun for printing photos of topless girls. I'm having a go at the Sun for the hypocrisy of pretending to be all righteous when someone else is accused of paying for topless photos, when in fact that's exactly what they did to achieve their high profile status.

I've just arrived home to find THREE new wheeled bins waiting for me in the dusk. That makes four, total:- the one I already have (green) for garden and food waste; now also one black, for rubbish, one red for cardboard and paper, one blue for glass jars, bottles.

Green and black bins collected weekly. Red and blue bins collected fortnightly, alternating!

Christ on a bike! No, no, no. I am not having that. Too much. I have to keep them somewhere, and wheel them out at appropriate times, and collect them from wherever the dustmen happen to leave them.

As far as I know, recycling is not compulsory. So, when they're collected, the blue bin goes as faras possible into the black bin, then nextr week the red bin goes. Then everything goes into either the green bin or the black bin.

I think I'll tell the wretched council about it, to give them the chance to retrieve their blue and red bins before they go to landfill.

What clown thought up this crackpot scheme! What other clowns approved it!

            Grrrr!

              AND another thing.

This wretched bbc bloke, according to the police, has "committed no crime". Well, the law is quite bizzarre. It's legitimate to have it off with people over 16, but you'd better not make, communicate, store or possess indecent photographs of them (actually "images", so a watercolour would be illegal), and neither had they, before they're 18.

So if this bloke's solicited such images, got them on his mobile device, computer, wall or elsewhere, that's an offence, and if the subject made or commmunicated such things, that's an offence too.

Seeing as the police's "crimes solved" rate is, last time I looked, in the region of only 7% on average, I can't help but think....

              Anyway. "Grrrr!" again!

Better have a drink and some late dinner.

That seems wheelie excessive to me.

I'll have wheelie bin upset if I came home to that.

I'll give them a ring in the mornoing and ask them whether they're my property or not. I guess I could in fact use them on my allotment, as compost bins (or, possibly, water bowsers). They seem to be 180L capacity.

You'll be sorry! In France, we've bin through the bin/collection phase and now they're rolling out what they fondly imagine will be 'zero waste' measures. This involves everyone having to take their rubbish (in the good old black bags) to central, buried big bins, sometimes using a key, sometimes a card to ensure that you only deposit the correct number of bags per year. Despite already being charged for collection via the council tax, there are new, hefty bills for the privilege of driving your rubbish around and just to make it fun and interesting, no two communes have the same system :roflol: The future's bright, the future's errr....flytipping!

The recycle/waste bins remain the property of the council. You are only supposed to put the correct items in each bin if they are to be collected. Unless they have changed the rules they don't actually say you can't use them up the allotment - particularly if they are used for compost bins which is recycling of materials  :heehee:

I would be inclined not to ask them about it ;)

I've always admired the female form and see no problem in them displaying it if they wish to.

Once, when we were on a beach in Greece (clothing optional), there was a lady weighing close to 20 stone walking along the beach naked. I didn't really admire her naked form but certainly admired her confidence.

On the same beach there was a naked man strolling through the shallow water but he was wearing a sun hat and smoking a pipe. I don't know whether smoking a pipe in public is still legal.
