Whats your Weather Like July 2023

Most of southern Europe seems to be having a heatwave high 40s predicted in some places.

Meanwhile we seem to have Atlantic lows coming our way.
I just hope the winds are not too strong.

 

Well our forecast STILL shows rain...not sure where it's hiding!! 22C.

Our youngest flew out the Southern Italy today, very near to where our eldest was last week and temps are hitting the 40's in certain areas.

 

During the morning we had sunny intervals but also a fair bit of cloud. This afternoon the clouds have completely blocked out the sun! It's been pretty windy all day but this morning I saw there is a yellow alert for strong winds all day this coming Saturday! I shall have to move my Fuchsia standard away from the balcony railings & further inside the balcony where I may be able to protect it a little from the strong winds.

A warm-ish day but no rain - well only an extremely light shower that happened just when I was watering the hanging baskets - at first I thought it was splashes of water from the baskets but then I saw the rain. In 2 minutes it had gone but without wetting the ground as any drops were absorbed at once.

 

I've started hammering stakes in.

We hit 37c today 33c now.

 

It's been a miserable day with a lot of short heavy showers, and with no wind the rain has dropped like stair rods. It's beginning to brighten up now but I don't think we'll see any sun. 16C/61F

Cloudy here & we are forecast 12 hours of rain from 8am! We'll see what becomes of it!

 

15c and tis raining, looks like winter but feels like spring in summer

 

Cloudy and 15c, it looks like most of the rain is going up the western side of the country until this evening.
Just not keen on the wind forecast, mostly for tomorrow, I hope they are over reacting.

 

We obviously had a 'bit ' of rain in the night as the patio slabs are damp looking, however I don't think it was much as it doesn't look really wet. I've also noticed that a tree has fallen in the field opposite...most strange as we haven't had particularly strong winds, I'm certain with our bedroom windows wide open we would've heard something.

 

Sunny with a light breeze, 20c going to thirty something and breezy. However, it looks like we might be coming out of this high heat soon.

 

It's been raining since 6 am and still is. Heavy rain and a gentle breeze from the south east temp 15c feels like 17c.
