Whats your Weather Like July 2023

We have 14 degrees, heavy rain which is forecast all night, I will let you know when it stops raining and we start mowing hay from what used to be our lawns, if you want a bail...................lol

 

The lull before the storm..

 

12 hours??? We were lucky to get half that! It didn't start raining properly until about 1pm then it rained almost all the time till around 7pm. Fortunately though it has been "good" rain - the type that sinks more into the soil rather than running off like it does with heavy downpours or thundery downpours.

Last night before going to bed I watered my hanging baskets as I wasn't really expecting much in the way of rain - I should have more faith perhaps in the weather forecasters!

Tomorrow we have a yellow warning for very strong winds in place & as this street is very windy I will have to move my standard Fuchsia further in to try to avoid damage as much as possible.

We are forecast winds in the low 40mph from 10 am through to 2am on Sunday morning when the evening /night winds will be in the high forties...

Good morning everyone A windy day from noon onwards is our forecast for today! At the moment it's cloudy but dry and we can expect showers, possibly thundery, throughout the day. Another cool day in prospect with max of about 20C. At the moment we have about 14C.

 

Lovely and sunny but the wind is steadily increasing.

 

3mm in the rain gauge the last 24 hours.
It's all dark clouds this morning windy, but not exceptionally atm.

We had 30+ mm of rain yesterday and a gust of wind blew part of the Buddleja davidi off.
Today sunny intervals, strong winds, showery some thundery. Max temperature around 17°C.

 

15c sunny-ish with light cloud + some windy, don't know how much rain we've had but lawn is soggy

 

NO SUN this morning . It is cloudy, slightly breezy and 20c, only going to the low 30s, thankfully/hopefully.

 

Morning a wild, wet and windy night last night, we now sit right on the edge of a weather front, one end of the house is under black cloud and tipping it down with rain whilst at the other end the sun is blazing into the conservatory from the east, most odd.
