Cranberry in container

    Hello im a bit concerned about my cranberry in a pot plant. It has leaves and im shure its grown however there are no cranberries and it doesnt seem to have grown upwards. Does anyone have any suggestions

    Isn't it supposed to be a creeping pattern plant? I got one from The Range earlier this year, it grow showing horizontal pattern. Had 4 flowers, and have 2 berries now (fingers crossed for birds not discovering those :) ) . Is your plant potted up this year? It maybe be too young and settling this season. When potting up mine I used acidic ph compost.

    OK thanks i didnt realise they crept along. It was potted this year about 6 months but its crept along the surface of the container. I guess it isnt suitable for containers then as its now dangling off the edge of the container but not very tall

    hi2u- that's because it's a prostrate variety - they spread across the area they're in, and only get to about 6 inches or so in height. A pot or a raised area is fine, as they can then trail over the sides. :smile:
