@Grandma Sue Is that the only truss on that particular plant? They are nice big toms!

So jealous of all the ripe tomatoes! Mine are so very slow this year. Ive had 1 ripe (made a lush cheese and tomato sarnie). Got a few Koralik from a hanging basket - so small but very tasty. Got lots and lots of good trusses outdoors but I can see me having to ripen a lot indoors this year. They are promising us summer next Thursday so lets keep our fingers crossed for some sun!

I wouldn't hold out much hope of that happening!

Is it the same variety as the other three? It doesn't look unhealthy.

Whereas I'm not overly impressed with my micro-dwarves this year (I sowed them in January and am still waiting!), at least I can bring them in out of the rain. IMG_20230804_161734.jpg

I haven't had many trusses on the beefsteak because 1 / plant pots should have been bigger and 2/ being a new grower I was leaving the plants in the baking hot sun and letting the flowers dry up. "lesson learned and will not be forgotten"

Considering the weather we've had, your plants have done brilliantly.

Thank you, I gather this means (so far) that the curling crispy leaves of one of the beefsteaks isn't a problem :spinning:

Leaves are weird. (That's my scientific conclusion ) I've just posted this leaf pic on a Facebook tomato seed swap group to ask if Cherry Roma leaves are meant to be like this or if I have a rogue plant. IMG_20230804_174406.jpg

More insubordination in the ranks! Pineapple Fog, which is supposed to be yellow/red, is colouring to what looks suspiciously like purple. Whoever decided to call Dwarf Mary's a Cherry needs to give their head a wobble. Meanwhile, the "Tallest Dwarf" is still keeping me in suspense as to the colour of its fruit . It's stopped raining, so checking my Toms I found 2 Crimson Crush ripe. I have to say the taste is lovely, will try and grow these next year.

Used the first Russian Orange 117 this evening. Good size, very fleshy and few seeds but I forgot to taste the thing before cooking
