These 2 Fuchsias are looking very nice now on the balcony! Unfortunately they were unnamed when I bought them from a supermarket.

We are so fed up not having ant rain, so for fun last evening we put the automatic system on, sat there and watched it "rain" ... it was lovely and fresh ...

I love rain. I don't know why people moan so much about it. I hope that one day you'll get some proper rain @Victoria.

I cant stand rain, it gets me down.
Admittedly just a freshen up is nice for maybe one day a month, if its been hot, but we get it all winter it grinds you down.

I am the oposite of you then, I love rain and always feel more alive on a rainy day, especially in the winter when the other alternative is frost or snow. Now those are what grind me down.

I love rain when it's needed. But the low atmosphere pressure lets me down. I feel tired and sleepy.

That must be the answer then, the atmospheric pressure affects people in different ways. Low pressure always makes me feel better.

Try a year gardening in a climate where there's no appreciable rain for 3 months but hot sun and more and more frequently, strong winds! If it wasn't for seeing the plants suffering, I'd say it's perfect here, but even if you've got a source of water, it's a full-time job keeping the garden alive.
