What's your Weather Like August 2023/Closed

Too hot. 34C on the shady bit of the terrace. Like Victoria, our forecast has gone from only a couple of days of heatwave to the entire week and the forecast storm/rain has disappeared. Poor plants...

 

It is 37c here now at 3 o'clock. We haven't had a forecast storm/rain but desperately need it since haven't seen rain for months.

 

24 Degrees here in Costa del East Yorkshire..I'm actually starting to enjoy this weather..better late than never....only because there's a lovely breeze and I can still get some gardening done

 

I think your storms will be coming our way, usual thing, you get the hot weather and we get the storms,well rain anyway.
It brighten up to full blue sky just after noon, and has been a pleasant 25c.

 

Two and a half hours later and we are down to 36c!

 

That sounds lovely. Not the storms bit, but the 25C That's why UK has such wonderful gardens and we don't!

 

A very similar day to yesterday with clouds & long sunny spells. The clouds began to roll in around 8am & lasted till about 12pm. They broke up during the afternoon giving some long sunny intervals which were quite warm. Max temps were around 24-25C. No rain.

You'd never get all that black pipe thorough customs.

You know this, but I'm sure its a case of going for what suits your climate, and the pictures I see of your plants I would like to be able to grow that well.

Good morning all A rather dull & cloudy but warm start to the day here. We are forecast more clouds today but we should also expect some sunny intervals. Winds will be light, from the SW, but forecast to become a little stronger during the evening. Temps at 6am about 15C. Max expected to be about 24C

The computer says.........no...........well actually it says partially sunny and 18 degrees which it is with nice brisk sea breeze to cool us down a bit.............perfect.
