What's your Weather Like August 2023/Closed

The ground looks damp so we've obviously had rain and if our forecast is correct we may have more to come.

 

Cloudy and 18c.
Just heard they have dropped the weather warning on one weather forecast but it's still in force on another forecast.

 

Sadly not on ours ... now we are back to Orange again ...

 

Sunny intervals and light winds from the west north west temp 17c feels like 19c

 

Our low was at 7am with 23.8c.

 

I think it was a place called Menton, in France, they said that the over night low was just above 30c.
That was yesterday.

 

Yes, I saw that. They are on Red Alert, 19 Departments are.
We are just heading for 29c now, watering done.

 

It is 35c now and I will hide in the a/c all day.

 

The weather - so far today - hasn't turned out to be as cloudy as forecast! We did have a fair bit of cloud during the morning but by about 11am much of it had broken up & we were back to sunny intervals & clouds. Our temps are about the same as yesterday at this point, 3pm, of the day only less sun than yesterday. Winds are also very light & the 60% possibility of a thunderstorm around 4pm has evaporated! The clouds will soon be back - to stay this time - but the chance of any rain is minimal.

As this coming Monday is the Late August Bank Holiday I thought I'd have a look & see what is forecast. Will it be cold & rainy? Will it be hot & melt our ice creams before they reach our mouths? Or will it be a "middling" BH? Seems like this last option will be what we will get - barring any unforeseen tropical storms or blizzards from the North Pole!

I just been sitting outside and some very light rain, its 25c and the car has a coating of dust from last nights shower, I had it washed the day before yesterday.

It does look like the "summer" is deserting us now and the autumn will kick in.

 

22c and raining again. My Pots, French & Runner Beans are loving it.
