No, I am not looking at someone called Harry who is still a bit of a rocker... there is a place called Old Harry Rocks on the Dorset coastline that we are thinking of going to on Friday... it is sort of dual purpose, as there is Bournemouth Air Show also taking place on Friday and we (I) am hoping that this would let us see some of the air show without having too much of the hubub that will be around Bournemouth etc, as much for the sake of the dogs as anything.

We've got one of those pop up beach shelter things - bit like a tent really, and I was thinking we take that as it would allow us shelter from the wind and any rain showers or even too much sun (fat chance of that!) - is there any reason why this sort of shelter wouldn't be allowed? It is not a tent that you'd be sleeping in or anything, just a shelter for a few hours and wouldn't even have any guy ropes or anything.. simply held down by our own weight.

Aye, it is - cliff top, quite a bit of green area, all open to the public as are the beaches below.
