Morning all. Cutie meeces Upsy ... better keep my Cats in the Garden away from them! This one looks like Our Penguin we has in Bucks for 13 years.

Sorry you are still dealing with the Migraine and trust it eases with the cooler weather. Our temps will be about the same today, 19-26c
Hope you feel better too Michael.

J liked the car a 2005 Peugeot 206, Silver Estate, a year newer than his Kia Silver Estate with only 62,000 miles (the Kia has 102,000). The Mechanic came Friday and got the Kia started but cannot understand what is wrong. The guy (English) will take the car to our Mechanic Tuesday to have it checked out. If okay, J will buy. The guy lives just North of Messines and encountered heavy rain there and back ... but not a drop here!

I love this pair of Poppets.

      Good morning everyone ...

@Upsydaisy I think it was the oppressive muggyness that made me feel unwell. I didn't mind the heat so much. It's frost and snow I can't cope with. That's when I get really grumpy with headaches, like you when it's too hot.
It's showery this morning, and still very warm, but the opressive muggyness has gone and the air is fresher.
I hope your headache will ease today, take care xx

Thank you @Flumpy, I'm taking it easy today ...

@Victoria I hope you like the new car, if it gets bought, and maybe it will rain for you soon :fingers crossed:

        Good morning everyone.

Vicky I hope the car receives the OK vote from your mechanic on Tuesday.:dbgrtmb:

Michael I hope you are feeling better now that the weather has changed, it's amazing the effect it can have on our health isn't it.

Flumpy hopefully a cooler more comfortable day to come for you at work.

Lori you busy Bee, hope things are going smoothly over your way.

Well we did have a very light 10 minutes worth of rain yesterday although it didn't show on our forecast...but hey I not complaining as it saved us going around with the watering can.:)

A nice day is forecast today so it will be laundry day here ...Oh...and housework chores too.:blue thumb:

Apart from that I don't think much else is on the agenda, unless we discover we're running low on groceries that is.

Have a really good day and enjoy these nicer temperatures.

          Cats 12.jpeg Morning all.
I chuckled at the cat ... it looks like a thimble on his head!

Overcast here. Pleased you had a drop of rain too Upsy. Our burst of 10 minutes was not forecast either but a welcome surprise.

J doing a bit of shopping in Messines. We now have two supermarkets there, just 6kms up the road. Late afternoon he has Dentist, hopefully the last. :fingers crossed: Well. last until he has an implant on an upper front tooth!!!

I decided I have a Tredelenberg Walk when I did free steps yesterday so must work on that.

I had not seen that one Upsy but they are good exercises. The problem I have with some of them is I cannot stand on one foot without support. The strange thing I find is that it is drop hip ... and for me it is the opposite one to the one I had replaced (three times)! It is very frustrating. One good exercise is stand on a step and drop and lift the affected hip.

Also side leg kicks standing by a chair or counter or lying down.
I am thinking static cycling M/W/F and the above every other day to start.

              Good morning .:)

              How are you all today?

Please to finally report that my ,very clingy , headache is now just a distant memory.
The cooler temps have worked their magic!!

We have an 'in and out' kinda day today as I have a couple of medical appointments to attend and whilst we are using the car I want to go to a couple of the larger supermarkets too.

These trips out will probably take up most of our day so not a lot else will get done.

I hope all went Ok for J at the Dentist yesterday Vicky and I will keep my fingers crossed that the car passes the check over with top marks!:)

Michael have you made any headway on the card designs yet ?:)

Lori and Flumpy I hope your days go well..:)

              Have a good Tuesday everyone.

Yes @Upsydaisy I woke up in the middle of the night and knew exactly what to do. It's different to all the ones I had as trials :heehee: so they will be kept for future reference.

I hope all goes well with your medical appointments ...

It's good that you're keeping up with exercises @Victoria, they can be of great benefit.

Good morning everyone, enjoy your day x

Morning all. Agree Upsy this fresher weather is welcoming.

Pleased the headache has gone and trust all will be well with the doctor visits.

I start my "kicking" exercises today to strengthen my muscles around the trocanter. I shall do them whilst at the kitchen and bathroom sinks as I have the counters to hold onto. Also the static cycle is handy to use.

J off to Physio shortly, back by noon-ish. Then he waits to hear about the car this afternoon.

                Have a safe day everyone.

                    Morning Vicky.

Keep up the good work, you'll be doing the Can Can before you know it!!!:fingers crossed:

Is this the same type of Physio as last week for J ..or is he going on to something more strenuous this time?

You made me search out my wall chart of exercise routines to help ease arthritis that I was given a few years back ...so with Winter just around the corner along with the accompanying reduction of exercise I thought I would try and establish a routine now.......hopefully.;):fingers crossed:

                    Have a lovely day.

                        Good day
It is 63f and rainy and I have 4 minutes leisure time before going out!

Sounds like everyone is working out great fitness routines. I only do a few each morning.

I'm glad for the rain today. It is needed and will force me to get some chores done plus catch up with pepper chopping.

                        Cheers :coffee:

Good morning one and all. :)

How did the car do Vicky, did it impress the mechanic, and make J part with some € 's
I watched APITS yesterday it was in the Algarve area..Torralta, Porta De Mos, Lagos, Praia Da Luz, and Cerro Das Mos, it all looked very lovely indeed.

Michael you tease!!! You woke up in the middle of the night with an idea:ideaIPB:....and didn't leave us any clues !!!!

After a very hectic day going here ,there and everywhere yesterday I'm hoping for a quieter day at home today.
The patios need sweeping again ...it seems to be a very good year for acorns that's for sure! The pathways could do with a bit of tlc too and maybe hubs could cut the grass :fingers crossed:.
We'll probably have a day out on Thursday if the weather remains good....well... dry at least.

                          Have a wonderful Wednesday.
