Thinking of darlimg Bippos, I have actually seen one, newly born at Whipsnade Zoo. That is probably when I fell in love with them ... it was like a little rubber toy! :heehee:

          Good day
It is 55f and a few clouds are up there.

Sounds like everyone is busy and doing fun things.

I had pulled out lots of annuals yesterday and just chucked them down the side of the house. At the very location that a fellow is coming to look at today so I'd better get out there and bag them properly and out of the way. Some cement work needs doing at the foundation and I'd like to see it finished before the winter.

          Cheers :coffee:

Lori, did you have any joy with the Authorities regarding the smell from the neighbours?

            Afternoon Vicky.

Just said goodbye to my friend after a good catch up session.:)

No G doesn't actually live THAT close but the new( ish) housing estate that she does live on starts at the end of our lane ,turn left and then at the end of that road you have to cross a fairly busy ( ish) main road before hitting the edge of the estate...then it's just another 5mins to her place. Close enough!!!:) Depending how I'm feeling it's 10- 15 mins walk from ours.

All sunny here now, not sure for how long .

Yes R got back looking like a drown rat!!:) It began pouring down around 9 which was the time of his app so hopefully he was in the dry by then. But as it continued relentlessly he then had the 2mile walk back!! He should have listened to his better half!!:roflol: He needs bloods taken....so another trip on the cards.

Thats very handy that The Food Company carries Waitrose products too.:blue thumb:

I haven't reported them yet. I don't even think the bylaw office is open for another hour. And I'm still pondering whether to leave another note on their door asking them to do the right thing first.

                Good morning everyone.

Another day of dodgy weather to look forward to with a few hours of gusting winds. Not that keen really on having to be out in it today...but needs must.

As Wednesday is forecast to be a worse day for strong winds, we have decided today is the better one for making and attending some appointments. This morning we have one to attend in Southampton ( winds are stronger there being on the coast) and we'll have lunch out before heading over for hubs to attend his Physio app.in the afternoon. I then have to go over to our main Drs surgery to drop off a week's worth of blood pressure readings.

Hopefully we'll be able to stay put and batten down the hatches on Wednesday while the stormy weather passes over.:fingers crossed:

Have a fun day if possible .
                :spinning:

Good morning all! And what a wet and blustery one it is too!
My brother and I are off to visit the hospice, we are going to put a message on our pebbles so the can be place in the garden for mum.
Hope this rain stops, this is my last week off until next March, obviously I’ll be off a couple of days for Xmas.

Upsydsisy, did your hubby get back before the rain started?

Good morning all. Both of us had a slightly disturbed night due to barking dogs, hooting owls, etc, normal country sounds but sometimes unwanted.

You have got a busy day ahead Upsy and trust all will go to plan.

Physio Day here too for J so an early start for us. We always make sure I am organised and settled before he leaves.

What type of Physio is R having? J's has got slightly more physical such as pulling on elastic bands but still always the Volteran on Tens pads and deep massage on Fibrosis on neck.

Have a good day whatever is on your agenda.

                              Good day
And good thing I'm always last to the parade as by now, everyone has gotten sorted with messages! :heehee: It is 51f and no clouds in the sky. The guessers say it will be sunny all day and going up to 72f and it will be like this the rest of the week. :)

I may go to a nearby city to visit someone in the hospital. This fellow is a nice person and although not really a friend, more of an acquaintance than close to me, I figure he won't be getting many visitors and would probably welcome any guest even if just to alleviate the boredom. I'm debating this with myself because the parking at hospitals these days is wickedly expensive. We'll see how guilty I think I'll feel if I don't go. Hmm, maybe I'll try phoning first? :doh:Don't know..

                              Cheers :coffee:
