Looking beautiful Michael, I love the first Fuchsia.

Your garden is so neat and tidy ours looks an unruly mess as we've had quite strong winds with a shorter spell of them again tomorrow before having a whole day of gusting winds on Wednesday to look forward to. I might as well have sheared everything back today really.

Thank you @Upsydaisy, I'm happy to think my garden looks tidy. All I can see are things that need doing :heehee:
I'm sorry you've had such bad weather, it was forecast for us too but we didn't get it here. Hope it's better today for you. xx

Thanks Michael . Unfortunately the winds are a little stronger today for a few hours and tomorrow they are too but for a more prolonged spell. Never mind a lot of folks have it worse. xx:sad:

My sunny border - many of the plants are flopping a bit rather after some very heavy rain here this week, especially the verbena bonariensis!

                            P9222240.JPG
Closeup of a Bishop's Children dahlia in the sun. I grew these from seed last year, they flowered last year and it is mild enough here just to leave them in the ground over winter. This one has clumped up especially well :)
                            P9222249.JPG

Salvia cerro potoso, blue salvia Blue Note in front of it, and behind them a self-seeded tobacco plant and sedum Autumn Joy. This is always a very popular corner with the bees! Beyond is my pond - a half-buried plasterer's bath, with a papyrus plant poking up from the water.

The young Autumn Spire rowan tree in the border opposite has put on a lot of growth this year - and produced lots of berries.
