Thanks Victoria,..seldom do i meet anyone,.. which suits me,..i forget to go home sometimes as its a place to just stand or walk without thinking of anything

 

Thankfully the rain has stopped,..cloudy but warm.















Something drew Foxy Molly's attention in the tall grass.



She didn't like it.



Walked along the river to the canal to see what my friend was doing in his outside garden.
He planted rose bushes and campanula in a big bed,..Snapdragon in the old boat with Lobelia +

Just down the road from us people have an old trailer in their front garden that has been planted out beautifully....it's amazing how a little bit of imagination brightens up the place !!!

 

The boat is looking grand, as ever.

 

@Upsydaisy and @Victoria ,..thank you,..that friend and his wife plant all the way along the canal which is a pleasure to see when i walk up that way,..he does the planting,..she instructs

Despite all the rain and floods the river has dropped and the flooded area shows grass,..alas brown so far.



Its about three years since i reported to the local authority that Japanese Knotweed was growing in the park and back then there was just one bush,..now there is 6 Metres of an area as can be seen below.

 

Awww look at that cute little furry face....she melts your heart.

You live in a stunningly beautiful area Philip.

Really surprised to hear that nothing has been done to eradicate the Knotweed!!! I thought they were pretty hot on wanting it reported so that it could be dealt with swiftly before it became too large and more challenging to clear.

 

@Upsydaisy ,..thanks upsydaisy,..she is spoiled rotten and getting fatter,..mostly due to my walks being reduced to one per day,..well i do tend to give in to her looking for more food,..my dogwalker only does an hour walk for 10 euro,..five days per week.

The local council may be in for a rude awakening when they get a fine,..its quite a big fine as well,..five figures,..careless crowd.

Purchased a 55Cm TV during the Summer,..a UK TV from LG Electronics UK Ltd/Domestic & General,..fantastic TV,..so heavy i had to purchase a very strong large stand with reinforced steel and wood front.
