Mt T'other Half has just tested Positive so couldn't book our shots when he went to The Chemist this morning for a test kit. The Pharmacist said he couldn't book if he tested Positive.

Last Saturday I tested positive, so far just like a bad cold with a cough.
This morning I I got a text message from the Panoramic trial asking if I wanted to enroll; so spent 15 minutes filling out forms, this afternoon got a call from them saying that they had reviewed my notes and sorry, but one of the medicines I'm on wasn't compatible with the proposed treatment in the trial.
They are in Oxford and in 3 hours had got my notes reviewed them, made a decision and communicated it.

Same as my T'other Half. What are you raking/doing for it please? He was told he can't have the Booster shot for six months. The CDC says four months at least. Have you had yours?

My Mrs tested positive while she was at work, which was a week gone Saturday, with it being the hospital she was sent home straight away. She now has to wait for 90 days to get her booster jab but gets her flu jab next week, she was back at work today.

In Thailand, especially Bangkok and crowded areas the vast majority are wearing masks. In the major shopping malls and large supermarkets I would say all staff are wearing masks, it would be like finding a needle in haystack for someone that was not wearing one. There is no mandate to wear them as this was lifted earlier this year, but maybe it's a requirement by the employer or personal choice.

Even with lockdown and less people out on the road there more people lost there lives on the roads than through Covid. Strange how so many where wearing masks, yet so few wear helmets while on a motorcycle, especially pillion passengers..

Apparently I can have the booster 28 days after symptons or positive test, was booked for next week.

Not a lot, I'm isolating for 6 days from symptoms starting, then I can go back to work if I feel well enough. Resting, keeping warm and taking isoprofen/paracetamol for symptom relief.

As I am 24/7 with positive T'other Half and have had a sore throat and cough since yesterday, I took a test ... and Negative.

Hmmm...I had no ill effects from last Covid booster. I've never had ill effects from flu vacc either. so decided yesterday that I might as well have them done together. I shall stick to leaving some time apart in future :-(
