    Wednesday morning, almost 9AM.
We are going on an adventure today, hubby and I . an hour drive north to tour a couple museums, lunch out at a new place, after lunch the send museum then also dinner out.
@Upsydaisy , that lunch place looked so beautiful. A perfect ladies gathering place.

At our Airbnb some drama to be had. There are 4 guests, 3 men, and one women, seems they are on a work crew, they leave at 5AM to go somewhere in their white trucks and return at 7PM. One guy left afer 4 days. Then 3 days ago at 3AM the women was helped down the steps by a guy, she looked like she was in pain. Later I could hear the same guy tell the other guy she's in the hospital got morphine . She seemed to be in the hospital for 3 days. Got back to the house yesterday, she went slowly up the steps. Seems she is at home alone today. That's sad for fresh out of the hospital to be alone. Anyway, hope she is ok. My outside cameras trigger/alert me with any "face/human body" movement. I am really not be noisey. But there is some noisey needed, don't want "parties" or " "pets" to be snuck in. They are suppose to be gone this weekend. That's a tough job, up at 5AM and home at 7PM not even the weekend for a break. But guess they might be making a ton of money.
Got to go get ready to leave. Its an hour and 15 min drive to get there.
    Take care.

Good news for you Vicky, perhaps J will come away learning something from his experience. :fingers crossed:

Lori glad you had a fab day too.Snap laundry went out first thing here too. Such a beautifully sunny day.

Thanks redstar it really was lovely and all the staff were very friendly.

Our security does the same , although our inside cameras were off yesterday because hubs was at home I still got outside triggers and videos...at least I knew my parcel was delivered at 11am. :)

I hope your female guest will be OK. Over here they normally try to ensure that hospital stay patients have someone with them for at least part of the day if not all.

Have a lovely morning/ afternoon and a safe trip redstar.

        Morning everyone.

I hope everything is going well for you all.

Developed a really bad headache yesterday then realised that my neck was probably the culprit. It's really stiff and makes awful scrunching sounds... more than likely slept awkwardly.
I do have issues with my neck anyway due to bone spurs. Medication isn't doing anything for my head.

Hubs walked all the way to our Drs yesterday to get a Shingles jab only for them to discover he had it 7 years ago!! He came back in a surprisingly good mood all things considered......I don't think I would've, as they informed him that he needed one!

Off to visit my brother this morning...to be honest I don't feel up to it really and would've put it off for a day or two but obviously can't now as his budgie needs cleaning out and feeding.

Oh well never mind, I will undoubtedly survive.

        Have a good day.

A waterfall up North in Aveiro.

Morning. A normal sunny start here, a Public Holiday, so the Post Office will be closed today and I am waiting for things.

Hope you feel better as the day goes on Upsy.

J's new car was brought back yesterday 6ish then the alarm went off on it so J has to sort that out today as he just diconnected the battery.

There's nice the outside of your house looks @Victoria

I can sympathise with you @Upsydaisy, I get terrible problems with my neck, from the shoulder blades up into the base of the skull - stiffness and burning and it's awkward to use my arms sometimes. I think it's arthritis in the spine.
I hope your headache eases later on. When I get a headache from my reck and shoulders it doesn't go for days.

Didn't your husband remember he'd had the shingles inj, I had one last year. You don't need boosters I was told.

Man preparing the new extension walls for pebble-dashing today, he's coming back on Sunday and Monday to do it. I've got a ton of sand outside the house now !

              Thursday morning, 8:30AM here. 56degrees.
The trip to the museums yesterday was interesting. Certainly an unusual mind to put the collection and build the "castle" called Mercer Castle An interesting life he had.
The town, Doylestown was also pleasent, don't think I had ever been to the town center, lots of interesting shops. Its an hour and 15 min. drive for us.
Today, more garden cleaning up, leaf raking etc. The car show is cancled due to rain for this weekend. Later.

Hello Michael , he was just recommended to have one a couple of weeks ago by his GP....so did as he was told and booked one!!:blue thumb: GPs fault for not checking his records before suggesting it....imo.

It didn't occur to him that he had one 7yrs. ago as he has had to regularly have needles stuck in him for the last 12 years...so very easy to slip your memory. He can have another one in 2031 as the old vaccine was not as powerful as the new 2 dose one that is rolled out now. :)

:roflol:....thankfully they are very good really. I wasn't with hubs so it could very well have been his interpretation of the conversation......he is very deaf, even with his hearing aids!! So I may be jumping the gun blaming the Dr...unfair of me. Hubs can often grasp a few words and then 'assume ' the rest ...more often than not....incorrectly!!!!

Anyway no harm done as his records were checked ( as always) before administering anything. :dbgrtmb:

Hello everyone, I hope you all slept well.:snooze:

Thankfully my headache is very gradually fading to a much milder thump now. So:fingers crossed: it will soon disappear over the the next few days.

Vicky how are you both doing, I hope Covid is fast becoming a distant memory for you both.
                      The car looks very nice.

Michael I bet you can't wait to get things finished finally. On the plus side you could have fun in the sun today building sandcastles.:dbgrtmb:

redstar your trip sounded fascinating, love the sculptures in museum grounds!

It would be just the kind of place I would love to explore.

                      For the interest if others.....

We are hopefully off to a nice little market town that we have not visited for a fair number of years . It's close by so that makes me feel even more ashamed at ignoring it for so long. It's on the edge of the South Downs and has a lot of history linked with my lovely Winchester.

                      Have a fab Friday everyone.

Good morning Michael and thank you, yes compared to 2 days it's a lot better although I still need to wear my sunglasses outside.

Do you have a peaceful time planned before the man doing your wall returns on Sunday to do the work? xx

Morning all. We had a very pinky orange sky this morning.

Things trundling along here. I was very tired yesterday and actually lay down for 90 minutes in the afternoon, very unlike me. Went to bed early too so I could stretch out but watched some tv, Boston Legal. I haven't had an appetite, lost 5lbs, J gained 3! We will test again later this morning.

Have a nice day whatever you do.

I hope to go to Carmarthen on the bus today, to get card for my printer. There's a good stationary shop there and I'm going to use the card to print my Christmas cards on (If I ever get the painting done !)
Whether I go or not depends on Bella not wandering :cat-kittyandsmiley:

I always have something to eat in a lovely cafe in the market, and the lady who owns it makes her own deserts and they are delicious.
And of course there's the garden centre behind the market ... I can't go to Carmarthen without calling in there, can I ... :heehee:

Have a lovely trip to your little market town, it sounds a nice place xx

Hope you have a better day today @Victoria

Sounds like a perfect day . I'm keeping an eye on all our local markets at the moment.
I had to compost a fair few well established Wallflowers this year, due I think to our very cold snap last Winter, and am keeping a lookout for bundles of bare rooted ones. Our local market closed about 2years ago sadly.
I did speak with a man who has a large plant stall in Southampton and he should have some at the end of the month:fingers crossed:
I will keep a check at Lymington, Salisbury and Winchester too. You use to be able to get them in some independent grocery shops...but not anymore it seems.

                                Have a super day.xx
