      That looks lovely Jenny, it's a rhodi but didn't think that they flowered this time of the year.

        A surprise when we sat out last evening, the pink Brugmansia suavolens having made a miraculous recovery from c2008, has started blooming for the third time this year ...

        And because we have been housebound with Covid since the first of the month, we missed the full bloom of Charles Grimaldi, which looks like it desperately needs water ...

            Mahonia starting , Hydrangea decided to grow 7-8ft tall oh well at least I can see it

            Helianthus Lemon queen covers the compost bins nicely

            Bog area I've been messing with other the last two seasons . Put some primula Candelabra in earlier this year ones decided now is its time . Going to dig quite a lot of them Iris pseudacorus out I've got a Gunnera to fit in there and to add more Eupatorium and primulas.

            Front garden Looking rather wind swept. Miscanthus Memory is starting to flower ( Can't see out of pic ) its has marvellous white flowers. I do have a few clumps of Pennistemum Fairy tails in here but they flower so late ( looking like not at all this year ) I think I'll replace them with something else maybe deschampsia goldtau

                The Pink one almost no scent ... the Yellow one is very, very heady. ;)

                  Totally hardy need a moist site I've lost them before in a dry summer . I personally like Primula bulleyana and Primula pulverulenta the most . They a load at Harlow Carr know as Harlow car hybrids . DSC03037.JPG
