I think they do charge a few p more than using the pay and display but you have the option of paying a bit more later without having to go back to the car.

Not found them slow, probably down to signal.

Not really complicated, I think it simplifies. The same goes for emails I can see them on both phone and PC and reply from either. It also makes changing phones much easier as everything is in the cloud, if you save all your contacts on the phone or sim there is always some palaver to copy to the new one.

Also if your phone/sim is lost or broken your contact list is also lost.

Oh yeah I agree there is the problem of moving over saved contacts on the phone when you change.
I've not used outlook for about 15 yrs as I just log in on phone or PC to the same e mail account, I found outlook a bit pointless, but that's probably me not knowing how to use it properly.

Also, back in the day, I found I had to keep setting Outlook up all the time as it kept forgetting my details and coming up with nothing until I went back and did all the settings again.

If you're with BT, I presume other providers do the same, and pick up your emails in Outlook then BT now automatically Imap them. So whatever you do on one is automatically done on the other - send, save or delete in one it then does the same on the other. So not complicated - even for me :rolleyespink:

Well I dont know what Imap is:redface:, I just use a web based email that I can use anywhere on any devise, all I do is log in and its there, and anything I do on any devise happens to that Email account.

Scrapping hs2 after all that outlay and effort? Now we'll have 20 years of legal hearings on broken contracts, inquests and most importantly from those forced to sell and have lost homes.
                  It stinks.

Its the story of Britain, going back since WW2, pile loads of money into something and then scrap it, its happened many times I think Harold Wilson started the ball rolling.

Not sure where all the criticism from up north is coming from though, as only a couple of years ago they were all saying it was a complete waste of money and should be scrapped.
They have got their wish, but now suddenly its wrong???

                    Its just politics.

There's a lot of people on here who gabble. They get on my nerves. I've just 'ignored' another one.

I sometimes use the "speech to text" function rather than the on-screen keyboard (the little microphone icon on the keyboard). It can be useful, but sometimes it produces double dutch, not Finnish.

Just had our 39th power cut this year. :wallbanging:

I now have a check list of what needs turning back on or resetting otherwise I'm bound to forget at least one of them.
