A Joke Or Two 2023/24

The best costume ever ...

 

During the 1970's I was travelling on the London Underground in central London. The carriage was packed and people were still pushing to get in whatever it took.

A well-dressed gay man was loudly complaining about the pushing behind him by the doors when a large man behind him tried to force his way in.

The gay man shouted at him and said
“If you do that once more Mr, you'll have to marry me"

Everyone who heard the remark burst into laughter. A great way to start the day.

 

This gave me a chuckle ...

 

Recognise anyone? stand back.

 

A Russian agent arrives at a small Welsh station and asks for Mr Jones.

“Well,” says the stationmaster, “there’s Jones the Milk, Jones the Meat, Jones the Flowers, Jones the Undertaker. In fact, my name’s Jones.”

The agent whispers to him, “The eagle doesn’t walk over the mountain.”

“Ah,” says the stationmaster, “you want Jones the Spy”

 

My dad always used to say that joke, he thought it was hilarious
(his name wasn't Jones)
