    Happy Saturday morning everyone.

Yesterday's weather was surprisingly good so we did go and visit my brother and his budgie after all.:)

Enjoyed a fairly productive couple of hours in the garden in the afternoon. One annoying aspect of it was the amount of acorns dropping down on me!! Think I need a hard hat!!!:heehee:

Not sure of today's plans as the weather is looking dodgy. I would really like to continue out in the garden if possible.:fingers crossed:

Whatever your weather, whatever your plans....enjoy your day.:)

A Flintstone cave house in California. I have seen programmes where there are towns in Australia add Spain with these. I might put this up in This and That about these homes.

I caused excitement in the night again at 4.30 when I fell out of the bed!!! No injuries but feel tender in my knees/hip. I got in bed and as J was getting me a Paracetamol Munchkin threw up twice in the Foyer. Thankfully we are all tiled floors so quick for J to clean up. She then crawled under the covers and curled up to me till 7.30.

J and Ben have cancelled for today as rain is forecast and reset for 4 November. The winds on Thursday ripped the shade sail and Dining Patio umbrella.

J plans to take me to the Garden Center this morning to get some large pots.

      Have a pleasant day all.

Good morning Vicky , oh no!! :yikes:

Sorry to hear that you have sore knees and hip today, I'm not sure how you can prevent the painful aftermath of tumbling out of bed apart from maybe a nice thick squishy rug along your side of the bed.

And poor Munchkin too.:cat-kittyandsmiley:...what a night! What caused her sickness...something eaten or just a furball maybe?

As all our forecasts seem so unpredictable it was a wise move to cancel Ben...better and more productive to wait for a more settled spell and get all the outstanding jobs done and dusted.

Gosh your winds were strong, shame about the damage they caused

Have fun at the GC ...pics please.:dbgrtmb:

Rest those knees and hips this afternoon, what are the film choices this weekend?

        Take care.:grphg:xx

Thanks Upsy. I think I have REM Dream issues, with both incidents. I remember stepping through a screen door holding kitchen tongs and had to step over a door frame ... so obviously I put my leg out of the bed! J has told me many times about me talking in my sleep, shouting or grabbing him over the years. :rolleyespink:

          No furball with Munchkin.

Hi all…. I’m a little late for good mornings, not because I’m up late but because I’ve been busy doing my chores around the house.

Aawe Victoria hope your ok ?, it’s a shock when you wake falling out of bed, I wish your knees a speedy recovery :imphrt::grphg:

I’m just off to my dads as he’s left his phone off the hook since yesterday, I know he’s ok as I text his neighbor this am and she said she saw him going out in his car this am, so I’ll have my lunch there today.

I will catch up on reading all your posted when I get back….. have a nice after all

Hello all, Saturday, its about 3:30PM.
This morning another new gardener person stopped by for some of my hardy geraniums, got her a good two big boxes. So she should have a lot to plant. She told me she was not very lucky with them, went over how to plant with her, maybe that was the issue. She saw my dense rows of them.
Then off we went to an art museum in Delaware, the showing was a special one, really awesome. Finally home. Making homemade chicken soup for dinner with P&J Sandwiches. Husband settling with to watch football games. Raining here now.
Other than putting the soup together I am calling it a day. Feet up etc. Have to find me a glass of wine also.
@Victoria --the pict. of the room/house with molded walls reminds me of a place we stayed at for about 10 years in a row, 3 weeks each time, in KeyWest Florida. it has molded ceilings, molded bed, molded couch, curved walls. Right on the beach. really loved it.
Ok, hope all well . Later.

Good morning everyone, how are you all doing. Hope your weekends are all going well.:dbgrtmb:

Vicky how are you feeling today, has any bruising appeared ...I hope not.:fingers crossed:

I hope little cutie Munchkin is feeling a lot better today and that she didn't provide you with a repeat performance last night. She and Van were certainly interested in your buys yesterday. :heehee:

Loved all your GC buys ....I would so love to go GC mooching with you.:)

Well by the time I eventually got into the garden and after I had picked some apple's and pears and began setting to on another border .....the rain arrived !! We had a fairly heavy but short shower which made everywhere too soggy to work on.

Hopefully today's forecast will be kinder to us.

I want to make a start on potting up the tender perennials soon as I always fear a sudden frost being forecast at this time of year and getting caught out by it. I then maniacally have to go rushing around digging and potting everything up and usually miss a few poor plants out.
So my plan is to be prepared this year...hopefully, but then again plans and I don't have a very good track record!!

                  Have a great day everyone.

A definite stone cottage up in Northern Portugal!

Hurray, we are in for a day of rain! It is a shame Ben got cancelled yesterday as we stayed dry and sunny all day and I would have loved the jobs to be done as the Jacaranda and Melaleuca are causing too much shade this time of year.

No bruises and Munch was fine after. I slept like a log last night!

Upsy, I would love for you to go to that GC with me. It is HUGE, mostly under cover (were you able to see the Facebook link of photos)? We take the wheelchair as I cannot walk that much/far with the walker ... yet!

Today will definitely be an 'in' day. J has lined up the movie "Christine" about a car that repairs itself ... that is what he has named his "new" car :heehee: which is really comfortable and nice on the inside.

                    Have a great day all.

@Flumpy I love your picture with the darling baby. I saw a programme the other day and there was this badger or other critter with eight tiny babies ... all clinging on to her back!.

Good morning all! Victoria how’s your knees ? ….. hoping your feeling much better :imphrt:

Can I come to the GC too it looks lovely, looks like there is plenty choice.

Upsydaisy & Michael how’s your heads, my mum used to get migraines in clusters, she never really knew what set them off.

Went to my dads yesterday and my brother came later too, we had a good chat and a cup of tea and decided that we will do the Xmas meal at dads the way mum used to do it (I thinks I’ll be in the kitchen most of the day).

Rain here until 10am and my in laws are coming to visit this am so I best get on, have a lovely day all and keep warm :grphg:

Of course you can. Unlike the UK, they don't have restaurants attached to them. Love Roos.

All is fine with me today, thank you.

Pleased you had a good visit yesterday and that is great continuing the Christmas tradition.

We will enjoy staying in watching the day. We may have it in stages all week. At least we stay warm.

Oh my what fun we could have in the GC!! No not really as I couldn't open the link.

                          Enjoy the rain...and the movie!!:sofa:.:grphg:

Oops sorry didn't acknowledge your post fully Flumpy.

Thanks yes my head's fine now..it is hard to determine what causes these cluster migraines but thankfully they only gang up on me like this once in a while. I think though this time around was a combination of jabs , family concerns plus stress from havithg this procedure and then potentially having to wait 6 weeks for the results. Thankfully I'm still apparently on the red flag/ fast track list so things got whizzed through really fast and I'm so relieved to report all was benign.

I agree also about Xmas, me & mum used to always end up in the kitchen so my brother can help me this time, it will be strange without mum but I know she will be there in spirit :imphrt:. Just waiting for my in laws to turn up, luckily they are very nice in laws :)
