Morning all. Sunday, 51 degrees here, rained all night. almost 9:30AM .

We are suppose to go to an outdoor music event later today. Its a cute village town about 20 mins from here.
Friday--was out shopping at some outlets. On my way home some car pulled out in front of me, quick response me--slammed on my breaks and turned right to avoid hitting the car. She gunned her car and ended up in a field across the road way, it was a level field, saw her out walking in the field. Guess she has to call a tow truck, or find a way out of it. Car appeared to be ok. But, proud of myself for quick response. I decided not to get out of my car and cuss her out, just not worth it.
Anyway, Off to what ever putting about I can do today before we leave.
              Have a good day all.

A small house made out of pallets.

Morning all. Slept like a log again and then slept late.

I had seen the movie yonks ago and just thought it a bit yuk in places not a horror movie to me ... I save that term for the likes of Texas Chain Saw Massacre and The Entity (based on a true story and the most horrifying I have ever seen!

Well, we definitely had rain yesterday, 40mm by 3 o'clock. and might have showers later. Only 12c to start the day so very cool for us!

Another day at home here me'thinks.

                    Good day,
It is 30f -1c and still being in the dark, I cannot tell if it is cloudy or clear. Brrrrrr!

Sounds like everyone is keeping busy just as I have been. No, I did not like the fit at all of those cargos so I took everything apart, redrafted the pattern, recut the fabric and now only have them about 1/3 done. And I'm not going to be touching them today. I've got dirt to bake instead.

Yes, below freezing temps have pretty much concluded any further growing time for my plants as I decided not to do any heating this year. The carbon tax on mains gas for heating the house and or greenhouse is quite punishing. I will be harvesting what's left on the plants and trashing the plants. Then after baking the soil and mixing with some new soil, the pots will refilled, stowed back in the greenhouse and ready for next year.

Halloween month does bring along all the horror movies to some of my television stations. The old ones are a real hoot to me!

                    Cheers all:coffee:

Good morning all. Monday. 41 degrees here, 8AM

As we approached the "music" event, the line of cars was so long it was nuts, we turned about and went to a favorite restaurant for lunch and that was it. And we were 40 mins early for the event. The area the event is at has little parking, so perhaps the car line was just the police waving in the folks and then the others trying to just get down the road.

Today, I have to get serious about getting certain things done this week outside to ready for the frost next week, and we are leaving on Saturday for a week away.

The talk about In-laws got me thinking of mine, I had two sets, one with first husband when I got married at age 27, then the second husband's, I at age 36. Of course given my age for the second set and added life experience I certainly viewed them really not in the parental role, but just two old folks that were husbands parents giving them respect of that. My mother-in-law of the set, lacked certain relationship building skills (that's enough said there). Thank goodness her approval was not necessary for me. She wanted all her children to marry Catholic folks, I am not. They both are gone now going on 10 years I believe. Husband does not seem to miss them, or he does not say.

Well, on to whatever the day brings. Have a good one all.

                            Good morning one and all.

Flumpy, , have you never seen The Chainsaw Massacre!!! In my younger days my older sister and I use to watch all horror movies and never got spooked at all. For me it all changed about 10 years ago when I watched one from Denmark or Holland....I can't describe what entailed...suffice to say torture like I had never imagined...I ended up turning it off, it was the most horrific film I have ever seen.
Vicky yes I've heard of the film Entity, but never saw the film.
                            This might interest you then.

Had a good day in the garden yesterday and hope for another one today too.

                            Have a great day everyone.

Morning all. Must look up Themes today. Just a cute Ele for now.

It is a brisk 11c here going to 21c but no rain. Our temps should go back to normal this week.

It is an early start here as J starts his Physio back, the last six sessions. I am sure he will be sore as he has not continued at home!

Upsy, that may be the one but have not got the time to look now ... I will come back later.

                              Have a sweet one all.
