My neighbour has added to her Kitchen/Bathroom.
It now looks like and Industrial estate building.

Not in keeping with a 200 year old cottage.
I have to look at this s**t when I'm in my garden.

Yes they did Pete. You can have any cladding you want as long as it can't be seen on the public highway.

 

Is that actually cladding ?
Looks more like roofing sheets.

 

Fireworks have started around here now, wont get much peace until after the New year.

They can be used on walls and roofs.
I spoke to the man installing them, he said it's the first time he's done this type of work on a private house. He does a lot of work for farmers. Sheds, stables & factories etc.

 

You will have to get Banksy round.
Not nice but you will probably get used to it up to a point, it would have been better if they had just painted the wall.
Or just a few bricks rather than the blocks.

 

If that's a type of plastic cladding then it will probably sweat in the heat and create mould on the brick work penetrating through the wall. Give it time @john558.

 

I'm assuming its a cavity wall?
But there is a gap between the wall and the cladding, I assume they will cap it off at the top? and somehow allow ventilation into the gap behind?
