Oh I have, and it sums up todays thinking, the teacher should be congratulating the students for spotting the deliberate mistake.
Not the students turning a blind eye to a mistake.

That's how the world is @pete, you do 100 things right and get no praise for them, but you do 1 thing wrong and everyone is down on you like a ton of bricks !
I've experienced it myself, and I'm fed up with it. It's about time people noticed and gave thanks for the things that are right in their lives, and for the help they get, instead of grousing about what's wrong all the time and being ungrateful.
I think the teacher was right to explain this to the class because those kids will probably grow up to be a lot of misery gutses, like most people are.
I'm fed up with miserable negative people ... seen all I want of them than you !

It just reminds me of all those messages you get bombarded with these days after someone sold you something, "So how did we do, take the survey", all questions loaded so as to make you mostly pat them on the back for merely doing what you paid them for.:dunno:

Do your job right and the occasional pat on the back is nice, but everyone wants it all the time now, and nobody seems able to take criticism.
        Everyone has gone soft.

Just after Xi Jinping's visit to the US - Joe Biden was answering media questions - he said that he thought that Xi was a dictator. There were oohs and aahs from the assembled audience - despite the fact that Joe was telling the truth.

I like Joe Biden for this very reason. Good on you Joe :blue thumb:.

Just had some fire wood delivered.

Yes there certainly were Vicky. I feel uneasy taking pics in really crowded places, so not particularly good ones, but enough to capture the moment.

The cauldron guy loved posing for pics ....I think he'd been taste testing his steaming mulled wine!! :heehee:

The last pic was of roasting chestnuts.

Way too many stalls to photograph and people were obviously milling around them.

                        Southampton one next week. :dbgrtmb:

I do know that people used to put meat in them.
