Being that we get a few bills by email now is there a way to mark the email with the word Paid on them as i like to write on paper bills Paid and the date i paid them, so is there a way to do this on email bills, is there a thing like a stamp that i could use i'm using windows 10

What we do is create a new Folder , say calling it Paid_Bill and just move the relevant email into that folder when you have paid it, though expect it depends on the email service you use.
We use an email client Thunderbird which makes doing it easy.

I usually pay via my bank debit card or credit card if not a direct debit, so it shows up on my bank app when I pay things.

Or print it and file it. :blue thumb:

I have an agreement with my bank and card companies that I receive paper monthly statements. Old fashioned but it keeps all my money transactions together and I make sure it tallies with all my receipts and payments.

You might be able to have both for a while. At the moment i do with my Grattan account but not with Littlewoods.

Asked hubby and you can go online to look at your previous payments on your account.

Nothing to stop you printing out your emailed bills and manually filing them as you do now.
We prefer to receive emailed bills as they do not tend to go astray like some postal ones.

If you mark or store you emailed bills in your email system, make sure you back them up so you cannot loose them if something fails.

Another good reason why I prefer paper bills :) - but not the main reason.

We have had a number of companies tell us they are going digital only but, after pressing them, they admit you can opt out of them. :heehee:

Dare we say how many Trees could be saved by moving to emailed bills etc ...

Lets face it, most of the young ones do it all online, mainly just us oldies that stick with paper.

New trees can be grown  (we have planted over 70 trees in our garden since we moved in). Mobile phones deplete the Earth's resources and create a lot of carbon emissions (could easily reduce that if they didn't intentionally make them obsolescent so quickly).

The paperless office :biggrin:when was that suggested.
Most offices seem to receive things via email mail then print them, or at least they did when I was working.
Lets stop making printers, that would solve the problem.:old:

They're trying to save money, not the environment.
Littlewoods catalogue told me to print out my statement for my records.
