What's your weather Like December 2023

Hovering around zero sun coming up.

 

Good morning to you all & welcome to a beautiful but cold December day with clear skies and a frost!

Temps here at present are below - 2C! The rest of the day is expected to be cold as well with a max of just 3C! But it's going to be a a very sunny half day! From 2pm we are forecast increasing cloud cover which will turn to rain later!

 

Very frosty but not icy which is good for the dog walks.
Temp -2c feels like -2c w with light winds from the east south east.

 

Morning all 0c frost overnight but sunny now ,trip to see my mum Birstall yesterday was good traffic not bad ,but hour hold up on way back due to fuel spill both lanes closed ,the carehome looked very Christmassy with all the decorations and trees.

 

We are straight across the North sea from Denmark and the Baltic, we seem to have their weather today, currently sunny -2, clear blue skies to the South and dark snow laden clouds to the north, we seem to be close to the dividing line!!

 

The sun visited on and off this morning but now it is lightly overcast and 15,5c with 92% humidity.

Where the sun landed today it cleared the ice but in the shade the ice remains and it's extremely dangerous; all this talk about global warming can we have some in Yorkshire please.

Its been sunny but cold, 6c max, its now starting to freeze again, but I'm holding off putting any protection on the tender plants, as its supposed to warm up later in the night.

Its always difficult to judge on nights like this what damage can be done before it warms up.

 

A frosty day with a couple of hours of sunshine this morning. Once the sun had gone the rest of the day was foggy with the temperature not rising above -5C/23F. I think it's going to be a long winter.
