What's your weather Like December 2023

Damp but not a breath of wind, 8 degrees and likely to drizzle all day, got the lights on and the fire lit, more Autumnal than winter today.

Since 10.30am heavy rain and a moderate breeze from the south temp 9c feels like 5c.
Supposed to stop at 2 pm.

 

Just came in from sitting in The Courtyard for a while and tending to my Adeniums. Blue sky with some puffy white clouds and 16c.

We've had heavy rain for most of the morning but it's now finally looking a bit brighter with just very fine spots and spots. Nice and mild though.

Sorry Jenny I think you had our leftovers.

 

We are at 18,5c at the moment so guess that will be our high.

 

Rain is just clearing right on cue as usual, nearly 4pm.

 

We are 19c now with the sun going down.

 

Calm but still shrouded in fog with drizzle added to cheer things up a bit. 4C/39F

Yes you can have some of it Colin, but it's spotting of rain again.

 

We had a couple of heavy showers during the afternoon but I only saw the first one which lasted about half an hour. We must have had another later as I saw the ground was wet again. The day started off wet but by 11am had stopped raining. Then it brightened up a bit only for the clouds to come over so thick we had to put the lights on - at 12pm! Lots of wind, especially during the afternoon/evening.

This morning it was overcast but the clouds didn't seem thick as here & there we could see brief glimpses of blue but no sunshine. As we left church around 12pm it began to rain very lightly but within the following hour we had quite a bit of rain. I don't know if we had any more later during the pm but the few times I looked out the windows I could only see dampness; it didn't appear to be wet.

Temps haven't been too bad around 7-8C max. According to the Med Office app on my phone we have 10C at present & that's how it will stay all night till 2pm Monday afternoon when temps are forecast to start falling - instead of rising!

 

It's been a rotten day it's been lashing it down for most of the day. It were very windy last night it's brought a few trees down.
