What's your weather Like December 2023

Good morning on this wet December day. It was raining just after 5am as I could hear the rain beating on our bedroom window. We were forecast more rain from 6am, there was an 80% chance but it didn't rain after all!

We expect a cloudy day with possibly an odd shower or two & temps around 10C max. At present we have 7C.

Met office can't make up their mind again; yesterday I posted today's forecast in post #217 where heavy showers were forecast now we have this;


Quite a bit of difference between heavy showers and drizzle; I prefer heavy rain then things are normal.

It's still dark outside as I type.

@Sheal is it worthwhile getting out of bed given your sunset times; you being further north than us must really feel these very short days; it's bad enough here in Yorkshire; I could do so much more if only daylight was longer; if I was rhubarb I'd be ten feet tall given the water and darkness.

Lightly overcast, no rain forecast but some fog in the orange groves, 13x going to 20c. Our night temps will start dropping tomorrow..

 

Had some rain but dry at the moment.
11c. So pretty mild start.

 

It's gone incredibly dark here now all indoors lights are on and we are in the throws of a very sudden and heavy downpour. 11C.

 

7 degrees, breezy and rain on and off, it is forecast to get colder and drier, that will do.

 

Quack b****y quack With a ribbit thrown in for good measure.....

 

The sun has broken up most of the cloud so now it is sunny and 18c.

 

10c dry and sunny-ish lovely day for December

 

Very heavy rain showers and a gentle breeze from the south temp 10c feels like 9c.

 

It rained most of the night, the garden is partly flooded, not that I'm moaning of course
