What's your weather Like December 2023

Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze from the west north west temp 7c feels like 5c.

 

Lovely sunny and mild afternoon, perfect for a nice walk.

 

6c and drizzle sums it up around here this afternoon.

 

A bright but cold day with a high of 5 degrees, mostly cloudy so little chance of seeing the meteor shower tonight. I was going to say we went to a garden centre, but I think they might have been done under the trade description act as I could find nothing garden related in there.

 

Bet it was full of Christmas stuff.

To be fair, forecasters are giving a general forecast for the different areas of Britain. My forecast, although I don't need it, is taken from my local village and past on to a few weather sites on the internet. Looking through a window is more accurate.

I do get a fair amount of wind here but that's due to the fact I live on high ground in an open, rural setting. I've lived here seven years and had three power failures, with only one in winter. With respect I think I'd rather live here than where you are.

I don't use a forecast for my weather posts here on GC. What I report is what I experience.

Today has been a mixture of sunshine and cloud with the slightest of breezes. Temperature up to 7C/45F but feeling colder as the humidity has dropped.

Good morning everyone. We have clear skies to begin the day here which are expected to last until around 10am when clouds are expected to roll in to give us a cloudy day. Temps will be cool at 7C max but now, & until the clouds arrive, we have 4C. No rain forecast for today & the winds are expected to be light.

 

Not as sunny as first forecast but nevertheless not a bad day for being out and about.

 

5c dry but cloudy, can see a orange glow but i don't think the sun is going to play

Hi,

Three stores and surgery visited then home by 8:30 this morning. The car was displaying a whopping 8C but as usual it's another black hole; I think daylight is cancelled again due to lack of interest; we're used to living in the dark. Amazingly the car was dry and no overnight rain; I'm now worried in case we end up short of water. It feels cold.
