I've spent most of the morning restoring my email account. Virgin have made changes behind the scenes so I couldn't log on from PC or Phone. The instructions from Virgin are very confusing and convoluted, luckily some helpful people on another forum have deciphered what needs to be done. Part of the process is to delete the account on the phone and reinstall it, I tried everything else but had to bite the bullet and do that. I now have it all back again as before, it now needs two usernames and two passwords depending on how I go in and access the emails

Mine seems OK ATM John, but did have some logging in problems a few weeks ago with some long winded instructions which I ignored due to getting totally fed up with them.

Miraculously when I tried it later it was working OK, I find I often get stupid log in things come up, it keeps asking if my devise is registered and do I want to use biometrics, their E mail is pretty poor these days, I get the feeling its going to crash, big time, at some point.

They lost all my E mails for weeks a while back.

B Gas sent me an email asking me to send in my meter readings.
Now I'm fine with that request.
I put in the reading for the Electric, great.
Sadly I couldn't get into my account to put in the Gas reading.
I went into the live (joke) chat and I was caller 115.

I couldn't be doing with all that, it's one reason why we got smart meters

And the energy suppliers just dont want to know about it, but if they actually stopped working completely the companies would be out like a shot to get them fixed.

If the council there is anything like ours, it's too expensive to pay them to take it away! On the other hand if they put it there they probably had a car, so why didn't they make the trip to the nearest recycling centre???
