Oh dear, not good naughty Bella

 

I am really, really chuffed. Although Van will lie across me in bed, he has not sat on my lap since 2017 when my medical issues began. However, every evening this week he has suddenly jumped on my lap after his dinner!!! I wonder if it because I have been putting the afghan on my lap that I made seven years ago ... here is this week ...


... and in January 2017 ...

 

Coz he luvs you...perhaps he can sense how much your health has improved and thinks you can cope with him on your lap now.

His colouring looks so different in both pics, which is the one nearer his true colour?

 

Perhaps he feels more relaxed with the afghan on your lap, i think that the second pic is closer to his colouring, i could be wrong.

 

As the pics are seven years apart and from two different phones ... and one in the morning and one in the evening, in our poorly lit lounge ... he looks strange. Actually, he seems to change colour in different lights ... but Logan you are right, he is closer to the second pic (as is the afghan! He sat on me for over three hours last night!

 

That's good that he's more relaxed now. Was over 3 hours too long for you?

 

Aren't animals strange? ... and intuitive? I am sure they know when we are not well, certainly cats. Van came to us about six months before I broke my hip, first time in December 2014. I was in hospital from 14-24 December when J taught him to go through the cat flap. After that I took care of the Babes, feeding etc, till I dislocated my knee and pushed the stem of the new hip through my femur on 2 October 2017 and became totally bedbound/wheelchair bound and J had to do everything so they migrated to him. Munchkin has become very attached to me this past year whereas she is J's girl.

Yes, three hours was a bit much, so I had J lure him to his lap. Last night it was only just over an hour. He is a heavy boy 14/15lbs at least.

 

She is cute as a button. How old is she?
