                    I don't either, although some dogs seem to enjoy it. But I think if you want something to dress up get yourself a doll.
                    And I don't like animals being taught tricks, although some dogs seem to enjoy that as well.

                            It all depends on what you think of as tricks. I've taught mine obedience at different levels, but some people might think that they're tricks.

                              Mrs Shiney taught the hens which part of the garden they were allowed in, roll over and play dead, to lift up their wings when she wanted to pick them up and cuddle them (lifted wings so she could put her hands underneath the wings to pick them up) and they loved being cuddled so they used to walk up to her and lift their wing without be asked.

                              She used to sit in front of the TV in her dressing gown, with one in each pocket. She put them on her lap and said 'pocket' and they got into her pockets on their own. They sat there watching TV with her and made gentle clucking noises until they fell asleep. :)

                              When I tried to tell them what to do they just ignored me!

                                The intelligence of most animals is underestimated IMO.

                                Not sure about training reptiles, but most animals will learn all kinds of stuff given patience.
