Miss Jiff broke the bridge on her glass's so booked in to options this morning thinking we wouldn't have any glass's for a few days, luckly we had some old glass's which looked the same-ish so took them as well, handed over the broken one and the lady said it's not pos to repair (which is what i thought) would any of these old one's be any good (she face lit up) yes but a light different in colour (not a problem to us) she said give me half an hour and i'll change over the bridge so we said we would come back in an hour just in case, return and all done :dbgrtmb: how much please, she said no charge free she said you bought them from the here but that was over 10 years ago but same free, so we thank she very much and i went next door to get a box of choc's and returned and put on she desk something for 11've
They are some nice people about but tis hard to find them now but when you do it's nice :dbgrtmb:

I got my Christmas present to myself. And yes, it is ridiculously not gift like to some but I am thrilled. It is one of those handheld spin scrubbers. Now I can take care of the tile grout without landing up with a tired, rubbery arm!

Well done! Having gone through your knee ops, you deserve some comfortable seating. After my first hip op I got two nice tub chairs as I can no longer sit on the sloppy sofas. Also got myself the garden rocking chair. I fancied a Cape Cod but they are too low. Enjoy.

I have an old recliner in my office, bought 2nd hand, and it's a good place to sit reading or doing some planning :)

The swivel one is also a recliner, (manual), and comes with a separate foot stool, and a rocker. I shall probably be asleep most of the time.
Could be up to 11 weeks for delivery.

I'm glad you've ordered a good seat to relax in @pete . My favourite spot is my kitchen chair. I replaced the foam padding with 4" thick firm stuff a few years back and it is now nicely broken in to be soft but with no bottoming out. Perfect.

I just hit the "place order" button for supplies I want and some that I need which makes me happy as I know when it arrives I can get back to playing in my sewing room. :)

I have a sitting room with chairs and sofa, reasonably large TV and I never use the room, its at the front of the house and faces East, so its quite dark especially in winter.
I prefer to sit out the back where its always brighter.

Of course, we will want pictures as and when they arrive. I think I put up pics of my outdoor rocking chair ... which I can't use at this moment as it just started raining (things to be happy about).

Our lounge faces West (albeit a small window looking at a Carob, a white Plumbago and various other trees shrubs in the neighbouring garden. A bygone picture in the rain (but I can't see the stone wall sitting) ...

Funnily enough I have a small carob, just outside the window where I sit, your seed probably, from way back when.
Its the only spot I've found it to be hardy.

I signed up and paid for a Pesticide course taking place at the beginning of February. I have been waffling about taking it for a few years. I will then get my certification from the government after learning all the things I need to know to be safe with whatever whitefly killers I decide to use and of course, writing an exam. Die you white pests from hell, die!

On a damp Winter's morning...well actually on every morning as I sit at our dressing table. I get greeted by these happy images and I can't help but feel happy and full of love inside. :wub2: 20240102_094552~2.jpg
