    Morning Vicky.

To be honest I always thought I was tidy too.

Emails soon mount up....and that's with me deleting new ones daily too. :noidea:

I had so many saved for future reference, some were in regards to family issues..Dad and brother mainly which are now not needed. Some were old work related ones...lots to do with the selling ( twice) of my brother's old properties, his health reports and appointments at the time of his diagnosis. Absolutely loads to do with when two of our sons were buying their 1st properties during lockdown...everything was obviously done online. As was of course arranging Dad's funeral and winding up my parent's estate too. So it's definitely taking me down some very emotional roads indeed. Literally 100's of emails had been going backwards and forwards between my sisters and myself throughout all these time frames too of course, especially during our brother's diagnosis of Alzheimer's as it was during lockdown and I was the only person who could visit and be in personal contact with him so had to obviously report back to them.

And Photos !!!....note to self stop taking so many of the garden!!! :roflol: Every year, identical pics are taken. Why oh why:noidea:

I will just take a couple of overall pics each month this year and any I take for posting on here of specific plants will be deleted straight away from Tablets and phone. Just how many images do I need of ( more often than not) the same plants that pop up every year!!!:roflol::whistle:

Monday morning. Really cold here 25 degrees.
      Yep, continue indoor tasks here.

@Upsydaisy , yep get it about same "flower" /garden pics over and over, I have almost stopped, unless I can find a different angle. I don't even post here anymore, same stuff blooms every year. Recall my husband and his siblings going through the clean out of his grandmother/and later his parents house. He has 3 siblings to deal with it all. I stayed out of it.

Its 10AM, started laundry, have a pile of towels to fold. Have a grand day all.

        Good morning everyone.

Our weather looks to be slightly milder today, not sure if it will result in us going out anywhere though. I would love to go to Salisbury but I 'm still in a lot of pain in my hips and knee.

Heard from our youngest yesterday he's coming home a week or two earlier as he is heeding the advice being given out and now won't be ending his trip in Ecuador. A big sigh of relief here I must say!!

Whatever you're up to today ....enjoy.

Lightly overcast but warm at 16c. Waiting for the rain forecast for later.

Van still spending the night on the bathtub. However, he still sits on me in the daytime and evening. :wub2:

J suffering with clogged ear deafness again. Weather probably doesn't help with constant high humidity but no rain to clear the air. He will not do regular ear cleaning ... like he won't exercise!!! I am fine.

          No other news from here.

            Morning Vicky :)

Glad to hear all is good with you today, Poor J ,ear problems are horrid. Does he produce a lot of wax? I know some people do and have to regularly 'clean ' our their ears. I know you're not suppose to clean them too much if you don't have any issues. Thankfully apart from tinnitus I've never suffered with mine. :fingers crossed:

Tempting fate now aren't I .:heehee:

Have a lovely day , I'm just going for a quick potter in the greenhouse . Then I really must begin to jot down my seed sowing schedule on the calender.

I have knitting, jigsaw and library book on the go too.
Do you do jigsaws...I love them as a winter pastime.
            Love to you both.:grphg:xx

Yes, last year and the year before he had to go to the docs and they eradicated wax. He has a spray from pharmacy and should do it occasionally. I have to be silent or have to constantly repeat slowly and loudly ... and then are "accused" of saying what I did not!

I don't envy your cold. Of course we are the complete opposite at the moment with our high temps. It has just started drizzling so hopefully some decent rain will find us.

No, I don't really care for puzzles but Jim used to like them ... has a few but would rather be on the computer (laptop or phone) most of the time.

I cleared out another small drawer this morning ... glittery/beaded/lacey tops which I will never wear again and probably only wore once anyway. Now what else can I find to dispose of .... :rolleyespink: ;)

              Keep warm there.

Hugs to you both too. xx

                Tuesday morning. about 9:33AM.

@Victoria, @Upsydaisy , have a client, for her ear wax issues the doctor prescribed weekly drops of mineral oil in each ear. Seems to work, keeps the wax soft. I know she is still living in that one group home that I supervised.

Snowed last night, about 3 inches. Both of us did not pay attention to the forecast, guess that comes with retirement. The snow shovel just outside the back door. Later I'll get out and broom off my car, shovel a little, and make my way up the street to the food store. My car is a SUV, so it can handle snow quiet nicely, and I have less than 2 miles to travel anyway. Last year it did not snow at all. Nice to see the white fluff. All bird feeders were filled up two days ago, so birds are happy.
Skipping the Chess Club meet up today.
Back to the paperwork stuff for the day. etc. Have a grand day all.

That's good to know that the lady has found a solution to her ear issues redstar, as I said fortunately I've never experienced any such problems.

Boy do you have a lot of paperwork!!!:yikes:

Morning everyone, how are you all today?

Unfortunately I don't think we'll get the snow that we were originally forecast, it will skim past us and let France enjoy it instead of us . Oh how I love freshly fallen snow, the world looks so magical.

Still have a few more nippy days to come before it becomes milder at the weekend.....and wetter!!!

Enjoyed a lovely walk yesterday afternoon in the sunshine.

This morning we are waiting ....yet again...to have our landline fixed and a check up on our ever faltering internet. We can expect the engineer anytime between 8-12.

I thought it had be fixed last time ( a couple of months ago) but obviously not.:wallbanging:

Enjoy your day and redstar hoping you finally get a paperwork free day!!:blue thumb:

                      Good Morning all.

We had the storm and rain last night / early ago and got a lovely 10mm of rain. Now it is overcast, windy/gusty and 16c with more welcomed rain forecast throughout the day.

J going to Tavira, about an hour to the East of us to buy a couple of guitars and I will go along for the ride. Upsy, Tavira is where that Mother and Sun couldn't make up their
                      minds and didn't buy.

Van has popped out but Munch is here on the bed. Will keep the Boy in if he comes on before we leave.

Wednesday, 10:16AM. Snow staying about, expecting 3 more inches today.
Managed to clean off a car and got down my driveway to the food store. Roads were good, all nicely salted. Would be nice if some young chap comes about and offers to shovel the driveway for some $$$ I have cash here for the taking.

Ah the paperwork---we run two business, the "show car" and the "airbnb" any bills, receipts, income etc are well documented, organized, added up etc. for figures for the accountant. So when she plugs all the numbers in to the final tax forms we (fingers-crossed) we do not have to pay anything to the government , but get some back. Last year we did very well, got money back. So far both are running in the red. Its actually a good thing to do all that now, can't be in the garden with the snow, so sitting and organizing, adding etc. a good thing. Our completed tax bundle we get from her, prior to mailing to the IRA is about 2 inches thick. That does not count for later when I bundle up everything in one big envelope to keep in files for 7 years. Lots of fun.

Back at it. Take care all.

Another lovely sunny day here albeit a nippy one.

A few indoor tasks today to tidy up the remaining bits of upheaval caused by the OR engineers yesterday.

Hopefully we'll go into town tomorrow for a browse and a bit of lunch.

                          Have a good day.

Hooray, had some rain in the night and may have more today.

It was a nice trip to Tavira yesterday in sunshine, round trio two hours. It was an Englishman, moved here three years ago. An old cottage like ours on small plot with swimming pool but think they had lots of scrubland around and behind. Down a dirt lane to another dirt lane, no neighbours so quite remote.

                            Nothing planned for today.

Glad you had a good trip out yesterday, sounds very idyllic and with a pool...:):dbgrtmb:

Enjoy your day and hopefully more rain.

                              xx

Thursday, 24 degrees here. Snow holding down on the ground. almost 10AM
Working on getting out soon, some errands etc before some more flakes drop later today. Glad I have a good 4 wheel drive, and not planning to go any further than 2 miles.
                                Take care all.
