Dont you use an ethernet cable from the router to the PC?

 

This is the modern malnourishment- if you live on white flour, sugar and fat you'll get fat and malnourished. And do it cheaply.

School meals are perhaps the only way to get some veg and proper protein into some kids, and also get them used to seeing real food. If you are exposed to real food once a day during your formative ways it may spark a light once you are older and get your own food.

I hope.

Unfortunately I see families where there are no meals, the best is beans on toast plus sweets. I have seen family homes without a dining table.

Free school meals are the pride of Finnish educational system, they used to help with nourishment issues last century and nowadays they give the role model of a habit to sit down at the table to eat a plateful of proper food using cutlery.

That's taxpayers' money rather well spent I think.

 

The thing is, and I know you can say things were different then, but when I was a kid we didn't have much money, I can remember my parents struggling, but we always had enough food, we never went hungry.
If you wanted school dinners it was a shilling a day, payable on Monday mornings I think some had free dinners but I never knew why.

Now it appears schools have to provide breakfast in many cases and now they are pushing for free dinners, I wouldn't mind if they were all orphans, but they aint.

Will they have to give them a meal before they go home as well, because that is the next step.
I mean, who is actually bringing these kids up, the parents or the state, bearing in mind all the things the schools are supposed to teach these days.

They was even suggesting that they should give them lessons on how to brush their teeth the other day.

I definitely think some, and I emphasise "some" parents need to get their priorities right , before they sort out their summer holidays and the TV package.

 

Wow, my fiber internet, phone line, television router doesn't hook up to any of my devices. It's on the main floor and my computers and telephones and tvs are all over the house and operating wirelessly for communications.

 

Mine are all on Wi Fi as well, but I was wondering what @Drahcir wanted the ethernet cable for.

 

Not sure an ethernet cable would be what you would need to move the router, it wouldn't work with mine.
Yours could be different.

 

Oh dear Shiney, could you use a hair dryer to defrost the pipes? That's if you have one of course.

 

I can only say mine has two tanks.
