It is 3.5f -15c and I think the clouds might not be as thick as yesterday. I'm hoping they clear out and give me some sun to go with the cold!

Yes, and then we're back in the freezer! Once the ground gets frozen, it doesn't really thaw through these short periods above freezing. However today, I think I'm going to move the cold frame to another section of the garden. I think I can ram the spikes back in

 

High of 8c cloudy and windy which makes it feel a lot colder.

 

Its been bright but with a freezing cold SW wind, clouded over now.

Cloudy with a fresh breeze from the south temp 5c feels like 0c. Might get some rain.

 

The day turned out to be less cloudy than forecast after all. We had some brightness at times but it did little to raise temps, we had a max of about 5 or 6C. But tonight we expect around 4C but the temps will gradually increase during the day until we reach 12C! But the wind will also increase in strength. We are under a yellow warning for high winds all day tomorrow and Monday but then it's the same over much of the UK, some places are even under an amber warning!

 

The snow has all but gone and there was a little rain overnight. Today has been mostly cloudy with some sunshine and the wind is now picking up. 5C/41F

 

Just driven back from Perth in light rain quite foggy and 7 degrees, all signs of snow has gone at lower levels, breeze is getting up. Night night

Another day of big changes! Yet another named storm, Isha, is due today! We have a yellow warning for high winds a little later in the day.

I woke up around 3am hearing the rain beat on our bedroom and with the sound of strong winds. A first salvo from Isha? :D

Temps are higher than the max we had any day for the last couple of weeks. At 7C it's almost tropical! :D but our max is forecast to be double that at 14C!
