It is if you want the proper stuff and not something coated in breadcrumbs.

Spaghetti carbonara, after having the roast gammon yesterday.
Lots of pepper and a drizzle of truffle oil to set it off :)

It disappeared 5 mins after the pic

Sirloin, veg mash and gravy for lunch tomorrow. Another easy meal to make. Mash in the microwave and we use one of them pre filled gravy pouches.

@Hanglow Looks very good  but there's enough there for me as well but I didn't get an invite

Did you use tahini in it and is that Sumac sprinkled on the top?

J brought home Turkey Stroganoff from the cooked food counter of the grocery store yesterday. A new item. Just had to cook egg noodles. It was delicious with very tender turkey. A new item now besides roast chicken and pork.

                    Yes it is

1 can chickpeas cooked for twenty minutes with a bit of bicarb to really soften them up, juice of two lemons, couple of tablespoons of tahini, salt, teaspoon of cumin, couple of tablespoons of olive oil, couple of tablespoons of ice cold water. Finished with more oil, sumac and Spanish smoked paprika. Beats shop bought any day

@Hanglow Brilliant . I guess you pan roast and grind your own cumin. I always do that with all my spices.

The only thing that I don't do the same as you is the ice cold water and I just use cold water to make it fluffier. Does that make a difference?

@Hanglow I've just noticed no mention of garlic but I guess you use that as well.
