        Thanks Flumpy.

After a 17hr wait for an Ambulance and 12 hrs in A&E for an Xray....all is good.
He's home now but my sister realised that they had left a cannula in so she phoned the Hospital and they said he would need to go back in ....well my sister wasn't prepared to wait for hospital transport again so in the end they put her through to a nurse who would talk her through removing it herself...which she did successfully.

Not sure I can fully agree that with the NHS you are in the right hands anymore......a fiasco is the word that comes to mind. I really think their days are numbered ...and that makes me very sad to say.

Well another day of waiting for my delivery of 100 Litres of Perlite. So no excuses for not having another day of tidying up the garden :). I also have Sweet Peas seeds that are ready to sow after having enjoyed a 24hr soak.

That's all folks !!! A bit boring here still at the moment.

          Have a fab day yourselves.

            Morning all.

J goes to Dentist this morning for the stitches removal. This afternoon he's buying a guitar in Sao Bras, East of here, so I will go with for an outing.

I have a balance ball (ball one side flat the other upload_2024-1-31_8-23-16.png ) arriving today so I will be having fun in the days to come. :rolleyespink:

                Good day
It is 33f 1c and I am a little freaked out that we have not had many daytime temperatures below freezing during this month of January. It is cloudy again and if I was given the choice, I'd take the colder weather if it included sunshine.

@Upsydaisy I hope your brother is recovering from his ordeal. And you and your siblings get caught up on your sleep! Thank you for the reminder to get my sweet peas started. I waited too long last year and they never "took off" and climbed the netting last year.

@Victoria that looks like an interesting exercise ball. I'd probably not do well with it. You'd think I have vertigo the way I sometimes topple over all on my own without the aid of a challenge like that. :)

As soon as I got up, I got into Hilda mode and then I dived into potting some chilie seedlings which were thriving very nicely but getting too big for their soil blocks. And I started the capillary watering set up. I needed to get this done first thing because the lights they are under operate throughout the night and early morning and I didn't want to interrupt their light cycle. So into the pots and back down before it was lights out. There are about 30 plants so far.

                Now to studying.

                Cheers :coffee:

Morning all, Wednesday, 10:21AM here. about 36 degrees.
Wow, @Upsydaisy, what an ordeal for your brother and his siblings.
Gloomy day here, but not raining, will spend some time picking up all the sticks and limbs about the garden area, big whoop. I am also starting to check about the trip I want to take up to Nova Scotia most likely in July. Seems that's between two car shows. Planning where to stay etc.
And back to paperwork for taxes etc. still have to get those totally done and ready for the accountant.
                  Have a grand day all.

Sorry Lori I thought I had replied to you .Phew yes all is good for now. :fingers crossed:

I spoke with him this morning, bless him he couldn't recall any of the events at all. Not the fall, not going in the first ambulance, not being kept in overnight to be monitored . No memory of Monday's drama and my sister and him having to wait overnight ( 17 hrs) for an ambulance to take him back into hospital, couldn't recall the xrays or physio...so sad . He couldn't even recall seeing my sister!!!

He just gave a little laugh and said 'what's up with me I'm going doolally.... I'd better be careful when I drive!! ' :yikes: I said ' you'd better had!!!!, as you haven't got a car or license'..... and that led into another coversation......

I just can't begin to imagine what is must be like to have a brain full to overflowing with emptiness.

Yes definitely get those Sweet Peas sown.:dbgrtmb:

                    Enjoy your day.

Okay, the balance "ball" is not quite a ball but you can pump air to your liking in it ... not much for me I hasten to add! I found the equivalent on UK Amazon (I got from Spain for about £3 less). I will start tomorrow as I prefer to exercise first thing and this will be on alternate days to static cycling.

All went well with J. She had to do some adjustment on his plate but said his gum is still swollen. He goes back next Wednesday,

Lovely two hour drive in full sunshine. Another Englishman in big villa in the sticks.
