The big ones and the small ones Pete but yes the mini roundabouts are even worse....everyone seems to sit there like lemons.

We are getting roundabouts in newly built up areas. Ours seem to be treated as a place to test how well your vehicle handles curves and at the highest speed possible. :rolleyespink:

We seem to be getting new ones built at every new housing development but for various reasons they are kind of offset, which means if you are going straight on its just that, without hardly any turning movement, but obviously you have to give way to the right.

With that in mind I've seen a few coming from the other direction decide to just go round it the wrong way, (or not go round it at all), it makes life interesting I suppose.

Douglas, Isle of Man. I was back on the island in September and had to ask my daughter who had priority on the new roundabout below.

@Drahcir I was talking about this a couple of days ago. It's surprising how many of the younger generation haven't got a clue what it means. Those that work with vehicles at garages and car dealers are among them.

I just assume on roundabouts of any type you give way to the right.

General traffic moan - they've closed several roads in the area and it's causing absolute chaos! It's bad enough now in a Sunday but the rush hours are at a standstill. The locals are not happy bunnies ..

It seems to be a national pass time, close as many roads as you can and sit back and watch the chaos.
They really don't care, and I wouldn't mind so much if they were mending potholes, usually they are just creating next year's ones in advance.

In these parts it's utter chaos ,there's more roads 'reckoning to be fixed' than those that were supposed to be fixed:rolleyespink:...I'm sure they 'mend' the pot holes with crushed up biscuits ..absolute shower...they ought to get councilors who know how to spend money instead of wasting it...
It's only a pity they don't have the tour de Yorkshire anymore..at least they got the roads fixed then...

Probably because you dont understand dogs.
Its the owners not the dogs, you can train any big dog to kill, within reason.
They appeal, because of how they look, to a certain section of society that should be put down at the same time as the dog, or preferably before.

Yes, it's the same with the roundabout in Douglas @pete, but drivers don't have to go round it. They can drive straight across if there's no obstruction by other vehicles.
