Felt like a snack, I could eat this any time, some decent cheddar on toast with loads of black pepper and toasted sesame seeds.

I've just had some grilled cheese and tomatoes on toast with lots of Basil and Oregano. One of my fave comfort supper meals. I will definitely try your snack pete sounds yum. :):blue thumb:

Same for me, cheese on toast is one of my favourite foods. I usually have some sliced tomatoes on top if I have them

I am trying to clear out the deep freezer as it's quite old and in need of a defrost. Found some venison mince I got last year so made a chilli. Used some frozen homegrown tomatoes and homegrown chillis. I've not made a chilli in ages, also tried out a new brand of pakistani basmati that was good and made a basic pilau with it

For lunch always have a banana and apple.
Dinner will be oven chips, baked beans and 2 fried eggs.

                    Keeps you regular @Logan ;)

Couldn't cope with all that in one breakfast meal as I only like a small serving , but do eat a steady variety of fruit throughout the whole day.

I saw some lovely aubergines on offer in Tesco so bought some. :blue thumb:

I made an Imam Bayildi which will be used as a side dish for tomorrow's meal with friends and a brinjal and chana curry to go with my lamb jalfrezi that I'm cooking for today.

Sorry about the foreign sounding names :heehee:

They're our fave veg shiney, absolutely love a combination of Aubergine, Courgette, Parsnip, Tomatoes and lots of Garlic.
I have even grown them...with surprising success may I add  in our greenhouse.

The signs of the times, those names are quite common now and are well loved and part of the menu over here now:biggrin::dbgrtmb:
