3rd way through this new book - 'A Cornish Christmas Murder' - the murder has just taken place:

'The cause of death was pretty easy to work out. It no doubt had something to do with the bloody great sword sticking out of his back'

Just finished 'A Cornish Christmas Murder'. This story gets another solid 8/10. There wasn't a murder in this book - despite someone being impaled on a massive sword - you'll have to read it to find out why. Already being familiar with the characters makes for a much easier read. Now, onto book 5 in the series.

I cant really remember a budget where we haven't been given money in one hand and had more taken away from the other.
I always look at a budget where I've not lost money as a good budget.

@pete I agreed with your statement because the same applies over here. Trudeau is raising the carbon tax again even though it was proven that it does nothing to lower our footprint.

@clanless I have looked for that author at our library and they aren't stocking it as yet. I guess I'll just have to wait. I love murder mysteries. I am currently reading the Carlene O'Connor series right now as it just showed up at the library. And no @pete in these books there are no rich people who employ butlers to do it...

They are available via Amazon. The first book is free if you are a Prime member. The others are 2 or 3 Uk quid each. That is if you have a kindle or a tablet on which to read them. When the 4th Thursday Murder Club comes out on kindle, that will one for me to read. I cant shell out 12 quid for the hardback version.

Thank you for the information. I have a kindle and a kobo but avoid buying books unless there were, say, a free plant with it. I will just have to wait until the library has them.:blue thumb:
