New Gardening TV program.

Just noticed Alan Titchmarsh has a new tv series on ITV 2pm Mondays, missed last weeks opening program but its on catch up.
Sounds like it might be a more practical gardening program ?

 

I watched it on ITVX yesterday, it was a change from gardeners world which I don't watch much these days.
I will probably see the next few before forming an opinion but, to me anyway, there was some new faces.

 

I saw one a few weeks ago. I thought it was better than GW. Missed last week's but will watch this afternoon's - don't feel like doing anything strenuous today

 

I hope it's better than the ITV offering I watched on YT the other evening. A sort of 'Ground Force on Steroids' thing, with Alan Titchmarsh presenting a totally OTT makeover. I like AT but do get annoyed seeing TV companies spending vast amounts of money on gardens for people who have obviously never lifted a finger in theirs and obviously won't do so in the future. What a waste!

 

I thought it only started last week?

 

I saw it two weeks ago but maybe it was an old episode. I missed last week's.

 

There is only one episode up until now as far as I know, he does have other programmes on the go I think.

I looked up the link and that's the one I saw two weeks ago, there was someone talking about birds and I didn't look at that bit because I don't like them. I don't know what they showed last week, I didn't see it and was a bit annoyed that I'd missed it. I was thinking of seeing it on ITVX but I don't belong to it.

 

Oh Ok Michael I thought it was new.
You only need to put your e mail in and create a password to get onto ITVX, but the other day I just got onto it without any of that palaver on my TV.

I think they are going to combine ITVX and Brit box soon, so if you pay Brit box you will get a premium on ITVX.

 

It is new, they must have shown it in Wales a week early. Maybe they were showing rugby or something else boring last week, they do things like that here.

I enjoyed the program though, it was very relaxing, so much so I fell asleep and missed the end.

Tichmarsh does have that effect. Very relaxed, he actually has a Sunday morning programme that I quite like depending on who he has on there.

 

Sounds interesting as you say depending on who he has on it. I don't tend to watch the tv in the mornings so I've never heard of it. Maybe I'll have a look next week.
