'A Cornish recipe for murder' - yet another 8/10. There is an actual murder in this one - involving a large rock and the back of someone's head. 6th book downloaded, then have to wait a couple of months for the to be published 7th book.

I shall have a look at the Carlene O'Connor series, any other recommendations anyone - for a 'cosy murder mystery' read?

 

This is the painting I did in my art group yesterday. It's a bit blurred - my hands are not very steady holding the camera these days (old age ! )

Have you read 'Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistlestop Cafe' ? I would call that a 'cosy murder mystery'.
I've only seen the film but it's a lovely story, and at the end you find out who the murderer is. It's probably not everyone's cup of tea but I enjoyed it. I'm going to read the book when I get around to it.

Really @Victoria ? It's only simply done with watercolour pencils. It took an hour and a half.
I may find a frame for it and see what it looks like.

Hello folks … I’m a newbie here exiled from GW. Thank you all for your kind welcome … as you can imagine we’re feeling a bit bemused …
In our previous existence we used to have a chat thread where folk (everyone welcome)would say good morning … have a virtual coffee and chat … popping in throughout the day. is this the thread for that sort of thing or should we start a fresh one?

 

There are several 'chatty' threads and if you look in the 'Off Topic Discussion' section you'll find them there. I suppose you could start a new one if you can't find one that suits what you want to talk about.
