White spider lilly

    Bought spider lilly bulbs my dad and I are competing to see who's looks the best at the end ie flowering . I planted it in 3 parts compost one part gritty sand in a big pot, any tips , I have it indoors at the moment

      It's just planted so it's just a bulb in a pot at the moment

      I'm quite happy to stare at an empty pot, so yeah.....

      The one in the big pot is the one i am going to grow to compete with my dad and the one in the small pot is the back up lol

        I grew some last year for the first time...the temptation of a heavily discounted bag of them was too much to ignore

        I kept them in the pot but got a bit too wet early on in the autumn so may have rotted...will investigate soon. Here's a shot of the first flower that opened late June PXL_20230619_102438885.jpg
