That's a good thread, and I'm sure once more GW'ers (is that a word, it is now) find it they can converse with each other over there and have less need for this thread. But at least some GW'ers have found this thread and may feel more comfortable having joined a new forum and found some familiar friends.

 

What is the spy feature please, and how does it work?

 

Only recently found it myself, click on 'Spy' (top of page) and it lists all the newest posts, regardless of which category they are in.

Hello all, I am very glad have found this site... I too am a refugee from GW. I felt so sad at the news that the forum was closing, much more so than I would have thought I would... I don't post as much as some, I'm often the one to ask daft questions, but have always been rewarded with kind and helpful responses. I've never experienced any cliqueyness over there, but then I tend to limit myself to reading the gardening threads (rather than the more general ones). Was Janie B over there, but that was taken, so am now here as Janie LB

 

The massive increase in logged in members now makes sense. I was wondering what was going on.

 

Don't worry about making mistakes, there's no need to appologise, it will take a while for you to get used to the site. If it's any consolation, I still make mistakes.

I am mostly the same, and it's up to each individual to decide what threads they look at, just choose the ones you're most interested in.

 

Welcome to Gardeners Corner to all the new arrivals...we are a very close knit community here and the the friendliest bunch of folk you could meet..
We love a bit of banter and the serious stuff too and we have the best ever Mods who keep us in check...Enjoy the forums...
