Thank you @LeadFarmer ... he's continuing to do amazingly well ... astounding the medics ... he's back at Broomfield Burns Unit this afternoon for some laser work on some of the scarring, but he's back working all the hours there are ... tough as old boots obviously ... there are times when he can sleep for England, but he's always been like that and it's a useful ability to have for folk who, like him, work in the entertainment business involving touring and late nights etc.

I was avoiding saying that my brother-in-law, husbands oldest brother was /is (not sure the word I would use) Until, as he just drove in, he decided to run his car on top of my WHITE crocus I have in a drift on the lawn. We have a long driveway, lots of room. I told him to move. SMH. So he is that "word". Not the first time he does nutty stuff. Don't know how he was raised. I have to watch him when here. Thank goodness not to often he visits. And used to tell him to wash his hands before eating all the time, he's better now. SMH.

Thank you @Victoria … that is so kind of you … I think we’re all feeling a bit shell-shocked, and a comfy chair, a cuppa and a friendly face really does help.
I’ve had a pretty horrendous twelve months, and although a forum closing down would normally seem such a small thing, the thought of losing touch with folk who have supported me through the worst of times began to feel like the last straw … and Im usually a pretty tough cookie … so thank you all for making the world a better place again
