Good morning, Thanks very much to @Badly_Maintained for pointing me in this direction, it was a great shock to see the GW forum shut down, I nearly cried, but I am hoping to find old and new 'friends' here. Now I just need to figure out how it all works, might be a while.

 

Another refugee here. Lovely to see the warm welcome extended by Gardeners Corner members, it helps ease the pain. I hope as we all get used to each other that we will all make new friends.

 

Thank you one and all for you kind welcoming words. I didn't post very often on GW but it is just nice to know where you can get answers to gardening problems when needed.

It's good to see so many people come across from GWF! But there are also other gardening forums that would welcome you with open arms as well. I've been a member of Garden Friends for a couple of years as well. They would love to see a few of you "refugees" join them as well.

How do I stop getting email notifications? I’ve managed to stop some, but have started to get an email when someone replies to a post.

 

Have you used the "watch thread" facility at the top of each page, if so you need to uncheck the E mail notification button that it displays when you click on it.
