What's your weather like MARCH 2024

It’s been a mostly dry day, and mild, but the washing hasn’t dried on the line so it will be aired indoors now (great excuse to pop the heating on anyway).

 

Partly cloudy and a gentle breeze from the west north west temp 7c feels like 5c.

 

Had a few light showers and some sunshine, it reached 15c during the sunny spells around midday.

 

Quite a lot of rain overnight. Sunshine and heavy showers today. 7C/45F

 

I don't need an excuse to put my heating on, can't do with the cold.

7C dry and overcast here in central Norfolk this morning. No rain in the forecast today, but there wasn’t yesterday either, and in the afternoon we had two short but very sharp showers of very heavy rain … real ‘stair-rods’ coming from what had been, a few moments before, almost a clear blue sky … thankfully we’d got the washing in just a short while before.

A rather cooler start to the day today at only 6C at 6am. We are forecast a day of sunshine and clouds with rain spreading in from the west during the evening and overnight. At present the sky seems to be clear of any clouds & we have brilliant sunshine
.

 

Was a strange day yesterday weatherwise, it kept threatening to rain so I couldn't get stuck into garden chores for fear of being disrupted. Weather forecast today is predicting the sun will be out till midday, so seeing that I'm up early I might as well get stuck in, but topping up on morning coffee is essential first.

Forecast also predicts night time temperatures of 8/9C for the next 7 days, with lowest on Wednesday night dropping to 6C. I've got a 3 year old nectarine that's full of beautiful blossom. I'm like a mother hen, fearful of the blossom being nipped by a sharp frost.
