Many thanks to Kate & admin who helped me log in after I kept getting an error message. It’s all sorted now.

 

That’s very true @Fat Controller. We are usually comfortable with what we know so that it can then become daunting to try something new, but once we do, we become comfortable with that and wonder why we worried in the first place.
The welcome here has been fantastic and I’m sure all newbies will soon feel as if they’ve always been here.

 

I remember getting on the pre routemasters with the little globe lights. . You felt safe and comfortable chugging along in the dark and there was a conductor.
Somebody spoke about the sound of the routemaster, the sound of the old ones was better. The sight of them coming towards the bus stop when you had drink taken wasn't bad either

 

The adverts that I get are surprisingly local. Interested to know how they got the information. Something to do with Google?
Edit: I'm not complaining or begrudging your revenue - just curious.

I don't mind the 'targeted' adverts, though it is interesting where Google get's the algorhythm from. Was chatting on WhatsApp with my brother, we were chatting about something obscure. After the conversation I started to get adverts for what we were chatting about (can't remember what it was now), I always thought WhatsApp was end to end encrypted. Obviously not
