I can't resist Billy Connolly you tube clips so I'm beginning to pick up enough of the language to get directions to the toilet and to order a beer - but I'd rather have wine. Stage 2?

Way way back in the day, I went to see Edna Everage with a bunch of Australians. I'd never heard of him/her.This drunk came up to me and said something . I didn't realise it was Les Patterson aka Barry Humphries. In my job, I dealt with people like him all the time. I didn't need it that night. And then he went onstage
Anyway that's beside the point. The supporting act was Billy Connolly in the time when he still played folk music as part of his act. Best comedy night ever.
I didn't get a gladdi, though ( I mention this as it has some relevance to a gardening forum.)
