I see that GW closed the forum to new posts at just gone noon today ..

 

I don't know if it will help others who have come across from GW, but I find the simplest way to use GC is to click 'New Posts' and then after viewing anything of interest, click on 'Mark Forums Read'. That's basically what I did on GW although my view on GW defaulted to 'New Posts'. I haven't found a way to do that yet on GC although I haven't tried very hard.

 

And so very nice of them to post a farewell message to us all after all these years.........as if

 

Pretty much how I do it, but after clicking on forums read you will automatically get newer posts later on by again clicking on new posts.

Hello, can any of you please tell me how to pop a 'signature' onto my info please.
I've tried clicking my name at the top of the forum, but there's no signature button to click (I'm sure I've seen Wise Owl's screen shot showing the signature on the drop down list, but it's not there on mine)

Oh well glad GW is over we can all move on with our lives...their loss is GC's win. And refreshing to actually have admins who join conversations instead of just put out dictats.
